BROADSWORD MONTHLY:

BroadSword Monthly is an original tome by DMDave, the internet’s most prolific original Fifth Edition content creator. Working together with a bevy of the finest adventure writers, cartographers and fantasy artists in 5e today, each issue of BroadSword averages between 100-150 pages. Within each issue of BroadSword, you’ll find new and exciting monsters, 5th Edition adventures, player options, maps, and more. BroadSword Monthly features a color cover and a black and white interior, and is available in both digitally enhanced PDF and print book format.

BroadSword subscribers who need to update their address should send their new address details to Jennifer at logisitics@dmdave.com. Make sure you include your first and last name to make it easy for us to find your subscription.

BroadSword issues that are shipping to addresses located within the USA ship via USPS Media Mail – in a padded envelope for single issues or small orders, and in a variety of box sizes for multiple issue orders. We use AmazonGlobal shipping for all International shipping and for shipping to military addresses. Packing and delivery times vary.

Most BroadSword Monthly print copies (issues 3-current), include free shipping world-wide! Please note that unfortunately, BSM issues 1 & 2 do not include free International shipping at this time.

Our first two issues of BroadSword Monthly, BroadSword Issue 1 and BroadSword Issue 2 are the only hardcover books in our catalog at this time. All other BroadSword Monthly print books, the BroadSword Compendium Vol. 1, and the BroadSword Monster Compendium Spring 2021 feature a full color, soft cover.

While we try to release a BroadSword each month, there are times when other projects, (such as compendiums and Kickstarters), may delay our release schedule – but have no fear! If you are a BroadSword Subscriber, you will receive the number of issues in your subscription, regardless of any delays!

Yes, of course! In fact, many of our BSM Subscribers are also DMDave Patrons. Our Copper and Silver Patreon memberships offer perks that will appeal to people who are already getting BroadSword issues through a subscription. Copper membership is only $3/per month, while Silver is $7/per month, making these Patreon membership levels a great compliment to an existing BroadSword Subscription.

We’re sorry to hear that! If rough handling is an ongoing issue, we recommend that you speak with your mail carrier first to try to find a resolution so this doesn’t keep happening to you. In the meantime, please take pictures of the damages to your BSM copy/copies and email them to Jennifer at logistics@dmdave.com so she can help get you taken care of.

We would hate to see you go! Please email Jennifer and let her know why you need to cancel your subscription. We do have many options – including the ability to “freeze” your deliveries if you are in transition and can’t receive mail for a while. Contact Jennifer at logistics@dmdave.com to discuss.

FREE ADVENTURES & NEWSLETTER:

To receive the free adventure(s), you will need to be subscribed to the DMDave newsletter email list. Sign up is easy – just click here. Fill out the form with your name and the email address you would like to use for your subscription, and hit “Sign Up!”. You will receive an email from us asking to confirm your email address. This email usually arrives instantly, but can take up to 2 days to arrive. If you don’t have it, check your Spam as it can sometimes be misdirected there. You must click the link in that email to finish the subscription process. Without confirming your email, your subscription will cancel instantly and you won’t receive any further emails from us. Once your email has been confirmed you should receive the free adventure within 1-2 days.

Although our confirmation emails should come through immediately, they have been known to take up to 2 days to arrive. If you don’t receive an automatic email, first check your Spam folder to make sure that it hasn’t been misdirected there. If you don’t see our email in the spam, please contact us after a couple of days to verify that your initial sign up was successful.

Although our free adventure emails should come through quickly once you have confirmed your email with us, they have been known to take up to 2 days to arrive. If you don’t receive the adventure within 2 days of signing up, first check your Spam folder to make sure that it hasn’t been misdirected there. If you don’t see our email in the spam, please contact us after a couple of days to verify that your initial sign up was successful.

No, our DMDave Patreon discount codes do not stack, and the old codes expire as the new code is sent to you each month. That said, if you have multiple qualifying items in your cart when you apply your code, the discount code will apply to your entire order.

Our Bucklers contain the collected monthly works from the DMDave Patreon, conveniently gathered into one instantly downloadable PDF. Silver, Electrum, Gold & Platinum DMDave Patreon members receive the monthly Buckler as an included benefit in their Patreon accounts. Copper members and non-Patrons can buy each Buckler ala cart in the DMDave Shop.

Covid has slowed everything down – a lot! Our printers and the USPS have both been significantly impacted by the pandemic. We ship as quickly as we can, and we expect that once the vaccines have been fully distributed and the world begins to return to normal, our BroadSword shipping schedule will once again pick up speed. Until that happens, please allow some extra time to receive your BroadSwords. You can always check the status of your shipment by reaching out to Jennifer at logistics@dmdave.com

As a small team, we have to minimize our workload wherever possible. We hope you understand, but we don’t take custom requests to swap out current issues of BroadSword for back issues released at an earlier date. If you’d like to purchase earlier issues of BSM, you may do so at the DMDave Shop.
