Ong-ong | New Monster for Fifth Edition

Ong-ongs are short, furry humanoids with large, flat heads that live in the Wallingmiotta. Once thought an offshoot of the gnomes that inhabit the wood, anthropologists discovered that the ong-ongs actually have more in common with dwarves. Ong-ongs may even be related to the dwarves of Khuzuk.

Dwarven Resilience. The ong-ong has advantage on saving throws against poison.

Innate Spellcasting. The ong-ong’s innate spellcasting ability is Wisdom (spell save DC 12). It can innately cast the following spells:

  • At will: druidcraft
  • 1/day each: entangle, locate animal or plants


Quarterstaff. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 4 (1d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage, or 5 (1d6 + 1) bludgeoning damage when wielded with two hands.
