This Spell is NOT Ruining D&D 5e | The DM Lair [Video]

There have been some vicious rumors going around about a D&D 5e spell that is supposedly RUINING the game.

Now, I’ve been playing Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition for several years, and I’ve yet to see a spell ruin the game. So, either we haven’t been using this spell, or it’s insidiously deceptive.

OR, maybe there’s a third option. Maybe, just maybe, this spell is NOT ruining Dungeons & Dragons!

Let’s talk, shall we?

  1. My group thought that particular spell (not going to spoil the video rant) was greatly needed, but to weak to be worth it unless totally desperate.
Hey, when a mook throwing a rock can pretty much negate it’s effects, it’s less threatening to the scenario than a lone kobold.
