2 New Magic Items for The Secret of Forsaken Peak

The best part about creating this megadelve with Justin David Russell is all the cool stuff I get to make on the side. Case in point, these two magic items: dragon’s tooth and the Necromancer’s Cookbook.

dragons-tooth

Dragon’s Tooth

Weapon (dagger), uncommon (requires attunement)

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, when you hit a creature with this weapon you deal an additional 1d10 fire damage.

Necromancer’s Cookbook

Wondrous item, very rare

This book contains instructions and recipes for preparing and cooking humanoids, and its words are charged with magic. If you spend 48 hours over a period of 6 days or fewer studying the book’s contents and practicing its guidelines, your moral alignment shifts to evil (your ethical alignment stays the same) and you gain the ability to use your sense of taste to discover a creature’s flaws. One per day after you finish a long rest, you can lick a creature or its freshly spilled blood as a bonus action. Afterward, your attacks against that creature are made with advantage and the creature has disadvantage on its saving throws against your spells (if any) for 1 minute. The cookbook then loses its magic, but regains it in a century.

Thanks for reading!

More fun stuff on the way supporting The Secret of the Forsaken Peak campaign setting and adventure module.
